Orders will be confirmed by return email. PLEASE NOTE: orders are not
confirmed until you receive an email with an attached Appetite Catering order
confirmation. All
orders must be reviewed by the customer. If no changes are requested then all
details of the Appetite Catering order confirmation are assumed as correct.

deadlines
All catering orders need to be placed by 3.00pm the business day prior. Placing
your order within the deadline ensures your order will be made and delivered on
time. Orders placed after the 3.00pm deadline and particularly outside
office hours ARE NOT guaranteed until confirmed by one of our team.
We understand that occasionally you will need catering at very short notice and
in this case we will do everything possible to assist. If this happens to you,
please call to discuss.
> order alterations
Alterations to a confirmed order must be received by 3.00pm the day prior. For
functions and events, this will be determined individually.
Note: confirmed orders that are cancelled inside the specified times above will
be subject to cancellation charges equal to reasonable costs incurred by Appetite
Catering in preparing your order.
Cancellations will not be
taken on the day of delivery.
> delivery
fees
We offer free delivery within a 5km radius of the melbourne cbd for
catering orders of $50 or more. Orders for less than $50 or deliveries outside
the 5km cbd radius may attract a $50 delivery fee.
> hours of delivery
7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Deliveries outside these times, where the
total order is less than $500, may incur a delivery fee of $50. Weekend orders will be considered upon
request.

times
The delivery time on your order
confirmation is when we will attempt to deliver your order. If circumstances
beyond our control (such as traffic congestion) cause a delay and we may not
make the delivery time, we will make every attempt to
contact you advise of the delay.
> delivery access
If access to the delivery address is not available at the time of delivery,
& our driver is not able to wait, your order may have to be redelivered at
a later time which will result in a delivery fee. Please always ensure access to
your building is available.
> pricing
In the event of a seasonal or supplier shortage, and where the cost of supply
for a particular item is significantly affected by means beyond the control of
Appetite Catering, we reserve the right to alter or adapt a menu.
> gst
All menu prices are gst exclusive. Gst is applied to all quotes, order
confirmations & invoices. Gst does not apply to all items.
> payment
The following payment options are available
- company cheque
- direct credit
- visa, mastercard & AMEX
- cash on delivery
corporate accounts – net 14 days from invoice
(unless an alternate arrangement is made)
functions & events – 30% deposit for confirmation, balance of estimated
cost due 5 days prior
Payment must be made on or prior to the due date specified on your invoice. overdue invoices attract a $45 late payment fee. If
your accounts department or company policy means a payment cannot be made by
the specified due date, please advise our office to make alternative
arrangements.
> lost or damaged equipment
All serving dishes & equipment delivered as part of a catering order is
left in the care of and at the responsibility of the customer. Any missing
or damaged equipment (beyond usual wear & tear) will be charged for at
replacement cost. Acceptance of an order confirmation or delivery is acceptance
of this condition. If missing equipment or platters are likely to be a problem please advise our team & we will endeavour to
supply disposable or low cost platters for your catering.
> functions & events
functions require a 30% deposit for confirmation (corporate accounts excluded)
full payment for the function must be made at least five days prior to the
function
should the function be cancelled within five days of the function date the
deposit is non refundable
should the function be cancelled after full payment & within three days of
the function, then appetite catering will charge for costs incurred &
refund the balance of payment less the deposit.
> supply of liquor
Appetite Catering is a licensed caterer (36095956). We are licensed to supply
alcoholic beverages at functions and events under the rules of our license and
as such reserve the right to refuse to supply alcohol in cases where we believe
supply may be in breach of our license.
